Feliz Nachodad is our way of celebrating two things we love: nachos and festive parties. It is unlike any other gathering during the hectic holiday month . The premise is simple. Each attendee brings an ingredient for nachos and something to drink. We lay all the deliciousness on the table and teams of 2 or 3 prepare their nachos exactly the way they like them in a giant foil pan. The pans are then placed on the BBQ. The nachos come out perfectly baked, hot and toasty, and ready to be devoured. Each year the location for Feliz Nachodad changes. Caroline, Grady, and Heather were our gracious hosts for 2016. We had a private room with a long table, fridge, the works. There was a lovely courtyard to mingle in and a stereo set up so we could have a dance party. I brought a Costco bottle of tequila as an extra treat along with tiny shot glasses so we wouldn't get too crazy. Who was I kidding? The bottle was gone before the party was over, one tiny shot at a time.
