Seven teams faced off at the 4th Annual Nacho
Cook-Off hosted by Cake Envy to see who could make the most delicious and
creative nachos. To the delight of all
the judges, the contestants once again blew our minds with better concoctions than
you can get at any restaurant. We
started getting full around contestant number 4 but somehow made it through all
7 entries. From Black n Blue to Poutine
to Vietnamese, these nachos did not disappoint.
In the end, the individually plated, cream cheese & jalapeno stuffed
wonton nachos won, but barely. It was a
very close race and at the end of the night we were all winners for getting to
eat all the deliciousness with amazing friends.

Black and Blue - Blue corn chips, smoked black pepper, cheddar, ground angus beef, black pepper bacon, caramleized mushrooms and onions, blue cheese sauce and chives.

We are Mexinese if you please - Corn chips, carrots, dikon, vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper, mint, vegetarian sausage, ginger cheddar cheese, cilantro yogurt.

Locos Nachos Cocos AKA Stoner Nachos - Cantina style chips with chicken, beef, and bean, cumin, queso, taco bell hot sauce.

Bruschachos Muchachos - Toasted baguette, grape tomatoes, garlic, basil from Danielle's garden, fresh buffalo mozzarella, olive oil, barrel-aged balsamic, salt, pepper.

Poutine Nachos - traditional Canadian poutine topped with chili, salsa, guac, sour cream, chips.

Bahn Mi Nachos - Lemongrass pulled pork, pickled carrots and dikon, cilantro cucumber salsa, jalapeno cream cheese stuffed wontons.
