Some of the nacho ladies ended up at 39 Yoshoku for some kick-ass drink specials and it just so happened they had nachos on the menu. They were pretty cheap, something like $3.99. We decided to do an impromptu nacho blog as two teams since we only had a couple blank score cards on us.
We're Nacho Cool!!: (2) - My style! Simple is beautiful! RAD: They're in the ballpark! Fresh chips! Nice. Shockingly delicious. LAME: needs sour cream and jalapenos. That's right! I said jalapenos. Toppings lack. TOPPING TO CHIP RATIO: Better with the extra side of cheese. Still layered a little though. We had to call in for cheese reinforcements. Even though I like plain, too plain. Mike is great! Nice looking bar, clean and comfy. Great fun spot!
Shananabear: (2.5) - Looks like Autumn style nachos. Fresh chips. Looks like movie theater nachos. Random dried cilantro on top. RAD: Fresh fried chips. Simple layering. Chips good. LAME: No spice, no beans, no guac, campbell soup style cheese sauce, no sour cream. Too basic. TOPPING TO CHIP RATIO: 2, needs more toppings or something. Not enough cheese sauce poured on. When it's your only topping, make sure there is plenty for all the chips. Mike was fantastic, nice open space.
