Sneak peak at Tio's Tamales

A guy who works for Sinaloa Tortilla's and follows our Instagram @nachos_in_paradise reached out to tell me about some really yummy nachos he came across through his work. He asked if we had tried Tio's Tamales on Nuuanu. I had looked at this place before, but nachos were not on the menu. They had recently been added as a special and he said they are amazing.  A couple days later we went hiking and popped into Tio's to have a post-hike snack. OMG these nachos ARE amazing! I can't wait to get in there with the NACHO FRIENDS for a nacho blog!  If you want good Mexican food on the island of Oahu, check out Tio's Tamales. He's open Monday-Saturday from 7:30am to 2:30pm and the dining area is quite small. Try the smothered burrito or the chile relleno.  Actually, just try everything, it is all delicious!
