They came out on an oval platter with lots of pork piled on top. My first reaction is that these look pretty basic and I don't think I am going to be impressed. As for cheese, they had both liquid and shredded cheese which is always a bonus in my book. Give me all the cheeses! Liquid cheese spreads to the chips more easily but fresh shredded cheese tastes better (unless it is a super epic homemade queso). The chips were really crunchy and there was a yummy chipotle sour cream on top. The chips underneath the top layer were naked, but there was some extra cheese sauce on the plate to scoop up on the empty chips. They definitely lacked spice and were pretty bland. The cheese sauce needs more zing. Maybe add some cumin or diced jalapenos to the cheese sauce to kick it up a little. Overall I would give these a 3.5. I wouldn't order these again, but I would totally eat them if they were in front of me.
The view was fabulous and the time with the ladies unbeatable. Our waitress, Alexa was awesome! As for the other food, all the ladies loved the eggs benedict they ordered. When I come back, I will venture to other items on the menu. Definitely getting some more of those $8 mimosa flights!
