Eric and I decided to be roommies on an Alaskan cruise. The port city was Seattle so we met up a day before we had to sail off to adventure one of my favorite cities. Blaine took us to a fabulous old pinball bar called Shortys. I was still stuffed from breakfast and could no way eat the nachos on the menu. Luckily Eric ordered them to review for us all. Little did we know this would be the first of three nachos that we would come across our paths that day. And the beginning to far too much debauchery.
OVERALL (2.95) - PRESENTATION: Drenched in liquid gold nacho cheese and smothered in jalapeƱos and chopped onions.
RAD: The nacho chips are swimming in a lake of cheese.
LAME: Could use additional toppings. Standard ball park nachos.
TOPPING TO CHIP RATIO: 4, more toppings then cheese. You can wash down your chips with a guzzle of leftover cheese sauce at the end of your meal. Nothing special but I love cheese. Imagine seeing a cheese sauce waterfall using a bowl to gather a healthy portion and then throwing some chips in there as a topping. Pinball machines everywhere. Tables made of retro pinball machines. Good music. Low key spot during the day, great service.
