Tipsy Pig has TWO options for nachos: kalua pork or ahi. Everyone agreed that the kalua pork was JUICY and the drizzle was well done. The ahi nachos were super flavorful too. The atmosphere is super fun with dart boards, pool table, and a karaoke room. My favorite part was the large assortment of soju flavors. They were on happy hour so as a group I think we tried at least 6 of them. My favorite is the melon melona bar. It tastes just like the popsicle.
Everything on the menu looks super yummy so we definitely need to come back to try some of the other items. The best part about the night was getting to spend time with Brando's little brother. Us Hawaii transplants are often separated from our families for long periods of time. When a family member visits one of your island ohana, it is a special treat.

Nacho Nacho (5) – PRESENTATION: Wow
looks amazing. Lots of toppings. Lots of sauces. I'm drooling looking at these.
RAD: Ahi poke!!! The poke was really ono!!!
LAME: Can always use more poke!
TOPPING TO CHIP RATIO: 4.95, it was loaded but I want more poke, LOL. Great
big space. Staff was friendly. Will be back to try other stuff and have more
ahi nachos.
Rene (3) – PRESENTATION: Not real cheese, but pretty.
RAD: Pork is juicy.
LAME: It's cold.
TOPPING TO CHIP RATIO: Pretty
good. Nice place!
Brando &
Julia (4.2 1/2) – PRESENTATION: They look like one of my dirty pour paintings. If I
was on LSD, I would probably just stare at these all night. Beautiful!
RAD: As far as liquid cheese goes, this stuff is great. It
compliments the kalua prok perfectly. I also dug the little salsa bowl to dip
in.
LAME: No beans, they are the magical fruite, after all , the
more you eat, the more you…consult your gastroenterologist.
TOPPING TO CHIP RATIO: 2.5, lots of lone chips. The top was covered though.
I think another layer underneath would suffice. I took 1/2 off for the missing
beans. The kalua pork was juiiicy. Nom nom nom. They do a mean drizzle (sour
cream & cheese topping).
Paddy (4.2) – PRESENTATION: Absolutely Tremendous! They do not skimp the nacho
cheese.
RAD: The drizzle proportionate nacho cheese to ranch, the
pork is very juicy.
LAME: Chips break mid scoop. All toppings remain on top,
salsa is not made fresh. TOPPING
TO CHIP RATIO: Toppings lay on top, break apart easily, chips
unsteady. Great atmosphere for a large group.
Zack (5!) – PRESENTATION: Looked booyful. Salsa on the side is weird. Sour cream
and cheese drizzle is art.
RAD: Plenty of juicy pork.
LAME: Weird that the salsa is on da side.
TOPPING TO CHIP RATIO: Cheese
& sour cream = check. Jaleps = check. Nice chips = check. Really tasty!
Soju!!!!! Tasty flavors!!
Nacho Libra (4) – PRESENTATION: Pretty! The bonito flakes are bonita!
RAD: Chips are awesomely crunchy. The spicy mayo is yummy.
LAME: I wanted a little more ahi. TOPPING
TO CHIP RATIO: 4, a few empties and could use a bit more ahi. Happy
hour till 8pm! The soju is delish.
Shananigans (3.5) – PRESENTATION: OMG, so pretty! Love the way the sauces are drizzled.
RAD: Olives, jalapenos, salty chips, juicy pork. I love
that there are no tomatoes.
LAME: Wish there were more, needs something to make it pop.
Salty pork can make the salty chips a little too salty. TOPPING
TO CHIP RATIO: 4.5. Pork is definitely the star of these nachos, everything
else is basic. Awesome space. Karaoke room, dart boards, pool table.
