For David's last night on the island, we all met up at Home Bar to get one last nacho review in with our mainland friend.
Home Bar has a onolicious selection of local style food...not to mention Tater Tot Nachos!!! Listed on the menu as:
BECAUSE CHRIS "THE SITUATION" TAI WANTED IT-Tater "Nachos" with Sour Cream, Jalapenos, Bacon, Olives, Nacho Cheese Sauce, and Salsa -- $9
We ordered several pupus and anxiously awaited our tater nachos. The food comes out pretty quick and is served family style. We also had the garlic soy beans (oh so garlicy!) and the parmesan truffle fries (with fried pieces of pepperoni). Nom nom nom nom nom nom!
David - (2.5) - RAD: Liked the tots; LAME: They started falling apart when soggy.
Julia - (2) - RAD: That they are made with tater tots; LAME: The fake cheese! I am snobby and do not like fake cheese!
Autumn - (0.5) - RAD: Creativeness that it's tater tots; LAME: Not my cup of tea. It's too polluted for my pickiness, I can't eat around all the stuff I do not like.
Shannon - (3.5) - RAD: Tots and bacon are rad; LAME: Salsa was too mild, basically ketchup...give us some spice!
Kate - (4) - RAD: Tater totness and jalapenos; LAME: Needs more cheese! (And put the bacon on the side for the vegetarians please)
OVERALL - (2.5) You got to eat them fast, or they will get soggy...and soggy tater tots smothered in cheese and sour cream are very difficult to eat with chopsticks.
Eric joined us a little later, and the tots were gone by that time, so no review from him! We will bless you with a pic of him anyway.
