Jimmy Buffetts Surf Museum

The rad ass surf music band, Men In Grey Suits, plays every Thursday from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the Jimmy Buffett Surf Museum.  I highly recommend checking out the band.  They totally rock!  Since there were nachos on the menu, we just had to give them a try.

Men in Grey Suits (less the bass player)

Autumn and Julia met David and me, and we got a table right in front.  The delivery was awesome.  The waiter brought them out balanced on his head.  Super cool.

The nachos were huge, but they cost $15 so they should be!  The topping to chip ratio was lacking, but the combination of multiple cheeses was cool.

Julia - (3) - RAD: Delivery!  LAME: No re-fried beans...not even in the chilli!
David -(3.5) - RAD:  Chilli had whole black beans in it.  LAME: Lack of layering.

Autumn - (2.5) - RAD: Nacho liquid cheese!  LAME: Green onions aren't real onions...green onions are  onions trying to perpetrate a fraud...they're just chives.
Shannon - (2.5) - RAD:  Multiple kinds of cheese.  LAME:  Toppings only on top...then you are just left with a pile of dry chips.

Our friend Jesse showed up toward the end...bonus review:  (2.5) - RAD:  Fresh tomatoes.  LAME:  All the goods are clumped into one spot.

Overall - (2.8) - Everyone agreed if you are going to send out a pile of nachos that big, they should be layered.  And there should be some sort of beans on them, regardless of the chilli so vegetarians can enjoy as well!

Mahalo for a wonderful evening!  :)
