Moose McGuillicuddys - Cheree and Kelly's Last Nacho Night!

We all met up at Moose McGuillicuddy's for a last nacho night with Cheree and Kelly who are both leaving us in the next week.  We had planned on sitting down in the restaurant, but our server was nice enough to tell us that we could go upstairs, order food and get the drink specials.  We found a corner and it worked out great since people came and went throughout the night.  Not everyone was a fan of the darkness and the little green dots of light that were floating in the air.  People intermingled amongst the group and many nachos were ordered and devoured.  Not the best nachos by far.  I worry that since we have had some seriously amazing nachos that now our palettes are too strict and don't give the poor guys a chance.  Not all nachos can be the best in all the land!  After dinner, the DJ played a most radical 80s mix which was thoroughly enjoyed.  When Cyndi Lauper - Girl's Just Want to Have Fun came on, Tom insisted it was the song from Goonies.  No Tom, that is Goonies Are Good Enough.  We will miss you dearly Cheree and Kelly!  Thank you for all the wonderful times and laughs!  ALOHA!

No meat nachos $8.95.  You can add chicken, kalua pork, steak or spicy chilli for $2.50 more.

Timm (3.5) - Pretty nice, tho I prefer plates to baskets and possibly a little more room to work with. RAD: I enjoy that the nachos have beans, meat and jalapenos, it is important. LAME: The salsa could be WAY better. T:C Ratio=I had a fantastic topping to chip ratio, down to the last chip, however my peers around me were not so fortunate.  It could have tasted better.  But I like the direction they were going in.  No olives=good.

Thad (2) - Well by the time I got there, they were destroyed. RAD: Looks like a heart attack, fat soggie chunk of yummy.. LAME: Sadly after I finished the sample chips my mouth was dry like the sahara desert. T:C Ratio=2, kinda drizzed in the center.  New to the this, but I have had better.  Company was nice but feel like pre opening time at the night club.  Service was good.

Brooke (2.5) - Normal presentation RAD: Salsa was good. LAME: Not enough toppings. T:C Ratio=2, not enough cheese.  Server was spectacular.

Ashley's first REAL nacho night :)

Ashley (3) - Pretty good, colorful and looks good RAD: They use real cheese. LAME: Lots of blank chips on the bottom. T:C Ratio=2.5.

Katia (3) - Pretty standard presentation. RAD: Jalapenos. LAME: Does not come with sour cream. T:C Ratio=2.5.  Very sweet server.

Kelly (2) - Good portion size for the price and I like the salsa on the side. RAD: Baked chips and beans are always a plus. LAME: A lot of empty chips. T:C Ratio=2, pretty much only top chips were covered.  Would not order again.  My last nacho night, very happy to be a part of this group.

Cheree (2 and that's stretching it) - Cheap wicker basket with wax paper. RAD: Real cheese and loads of jalapenos.  Cheap drinks cause we were in the upstairs section. LAME: No sour cream and no layering so chips get soggy. T:C Ratio=1, so many left over chips.  Lame upstairs night club black or dark with small green dots on everyone's face.

Steve (2.5) - Classic, not huge like a lot of nachos. RAD: Beans are yummy.  Chips seem kinda fresh. LAME: Sour cream is $1.25 extra, oh hell no!  Desert of nachos chips underneath.. T:C Ratio=3.  Killer servers, nice and real!  Too many infomercials on tv.

Julia Goolia (1.5) - Trte, cliché RAD: The bar was not crowded. LAME: NOT ENOUGH BEANS. T:C Ratio=Too many chips.  Great waitress!  Very attentive. 

Eric (AKA Don Frijoles) (3) - Looked good, but looks can be deceiving…OMG it's a piece of paper inside a basket. RAD: Beans and cheese combo is the bomb yo. LAME: Could be more better layers. T:C Ratio=2.  Love the green dots.

Shannon (2.5) - Lots of colors, looks bigger than it is. RAD: Chili has good flavor.  Lots of jalapenos. LAME: Too many empty chips and sour cream cost extra. T:C Ratio=3, Empty chips at the bottom of most nachos I saw.  Only the kalua pork had a good ratio till the end.  Our waitress, Abby, was great.  She kept my drink full all night long.  $3 Ketel One drinks make me happy.

Traci (2) - Looks piled high, but I can see empty chips. RAD: Smells delicious, chicken was good, better than the spicy chili. LAME: Too many empty chips and sour cream extra cost. T:C Ratio=2.  Cheap vodka is good, lots of people not a fan of the green lights.
