Serg's Manoa

One of the best nacho nights to date.  We had about 5 new nacho connoisseurs join us for a most marvelous nacho night in Manoa.  Luckily we scored a long table so we could all fit.  Everyone absolutely loved that it was BYOB.  Spunky even got to join us.  We ordered a plethora of nachos trying to give each of the meats a try.  The veggie ones were delicious, rivaling even that of Lulu's inside Onstage.  The chorizo ones were insanely flavorful.  Stoked to have so many nacho friends to get together with on this island.  Only like 50 more places to try...

Karl (5) - AMAZING! RAD: Great flavor and heat level. LAME: Tiny sauce cups. T:C Ratio=5, Super fancy chorizo's #1.

Abby (4) - Nice!  Lovely scoop of guac on top RAD: BYOB, chicken nachos yummy, free bread pudding sample. LAME: soggy chips when they sit too long. T:C Ratio=3, more toppings than chips.

Kim (4) - Pleasant and appealing. RAD: good amount of spice and nice mix of ingredients, BYOB, free samples and very good amount. LAME: setting by the road. T:C Ratio=3, I like more toppings.  Salsa music and merengue was rad. 

Sully (4.5) - Dope RAD: Veggies!  Chorizo and salsa chipotle. LAME: Not enough chips (barely). T:C Ratio=4.8, excellent.  Warm bread pudding bites…4 free.

Ashley (4.5) - Veggies ones were the best! RAD: Yummy salsa to put on top and unlimited + many varieties. LAME: Not enough chips. T:C Ratio=3.5.  Colorful, and gave really good bread pudding. 

Steve (4) - Diversity of color makes you wanna dig the fuck in! RAD: Roasted veggies super yum!  Creamy and salty.  BYOB. LAME: Not so feeling the guac, could be a little hotter, lacks acidity. T:C Ratio=4.  A strong effort!  Honestly I havent loved other food I've tried at Serg's.  The nachos fucking rule.

Shannon (4.5) - Very gorgeous presentation with the sour cream drizzled over the pile of toppings. RAD: queso fresco sprinkled on top, salsa bar, spunky friendly, BYOB. LAME: I love olives, that's the only thing that could have made better in my book. T:C Ratio=3.5, soggy ass chips because soooo many toppings and not enough chips.  The music was amazing, the company even more amazing. 

Don Frijoles (4.5) - Colorful, affordable and plentiful. RAD: Great flavors, abundance of roasted veggies, chorizo so YOLO!. LAME: Chips are broken from weight of too many toppings….Lame?. T:C Ratio=5, so rare is it that the chips are less than toppings.  Great music, outside seating, Manoa.

Traci (5) - Looks covered! RAD: Comes with sour cream and guac, chorizo is awesome, melty cheese. LAME: Dan (JK…Dan's cool). T:C Ratio=5, Lots of topping to use the empty chips on!  Good nachos, good atmosphere.  Bonus points for BYOB.  Outdoor and casual and dogs allowed.

Kate (5) - Colorful, diverse, fresh! RAD: All the fresh veggies!  YUM. LAME: Salsa cups too tiny. T:C Ratio=3.  Best nachos on da island, onolicious!  Heart BYOB, heart spunky friendly, heart shananigans and heart manoa.

Adam (4) - Appetizing presentation RAD: BYOB, good flavors, vegetables well roasted. LAME: Manoa?  Really?. T:C Ratio=4, I like excess toppings.  Open air, mexican music, pet friendly, is good.  Free warm bread pudding sample.
