We tried to take Tom to every Mexican place we could find for birthday nachos after hiking in Aiea, but apparently there are no Mexican restaurants open on Sundays in Aiea. So we went to Buho instead. Buho has epically delicious nachos with house made crunchy chips and lots of fresh toppings. I especially love the zucchini and squash on the veggie ones. They are a decent size too which is good since they cost like $13. We ordered one of each and starvingly awaited their arrival. Tim joined us last minute which worked out perfect because I don't think we would have been able to finish them with just the three of us. For $2 you can get a side of spicy and sweet house made pineapple mango habanero salsa. It's amazing! The service was shit since our server was the only person who showed up to wait tables. Not her fault, but she could have been more pleasant. We were patient and even didn't make a big deal when we were charged different prices for our tequila shots on the bill than the menu. We've all been there when you are slammed and there's nothing to do but push through, but I always tried to at least smile. Nevertheless, the food was good and the company superb, and that's what is important. Thanks for being born Tom! Nacho birthday!
