Milagros Food Truck at Maui Brewery - Team EPIC Maui Edition

We rushed to make it to Maui Brewery to catch the last tour of the day and we made it just in time.  However, the tour was booked.  As we were walking in, we saw a man carrying a heaping plate of nachos.  Beer and nachos it is friends!  Maui Brewery does not have food yet, so instead they have a different food truck come over every day to provide tasty treats for the customers of the brewery.  We were in luck because the truck that was there had NACHOS!  As the team ordered beers, I went over to the truck to get us a snack.  They offered Nachos Grande for $11 ($2 extra for chicken, pork or chili) with hand made chips, cheese, beans, lettuce, onion, tomatoes, jalapenos, cilantro, salsa, and sour cream.  I ordered the chicken and patiently waited.    When they arrived, the plate was piled high and covered in colorful, fresh toppings.  I took it back to the team and we devoured it.

Nacho Libra (4).  Colorful, huge portion, perfect for four, fresh cut veggie.  RAD: fresh cut onion, tomato, cilantro, jalapeno , lettuce.  Very fast and awesome chicken.  LAME: some chips too salty and greasy, unmelted cheese, piles of empty chips, needs more layering or salsa to finish up chips. TOPPING TO CHIP RATIO: 3.5.  I like variety but should have been more layered throughout. They were tasty and I would order again. Some chips are too salty and I like salty.

Shananigans (4) - Love the real cheese, fresh jalapeños, olives, fresh cilantro all piled high on top. RAD: olives, fresh jalapeños, beans, salty fresh chips. LAME: unmelted cheese, layer of empty chips on the bottom. TOPPING TO CHIP RATIO: 3.5, lots of awesome toppings, but should be layered better to be totally epic. Fresh infriendients all went well together but the construction could be improved. Very friendly staff. Would eat these anytime! Simple with basics and few extras thrown in. All blends well together.

Chris (3.5) - well plated. RAD: fresh jalapeños, big jalapeños! LAME: lettuce.  Why is there lettuce on the nachos. I'm not ordering a tostado or taco saled, these are nachos. TOPPING TO CHIP RATIO:  3.5. There are a lot of toppings, but it's just kinda piled on top. The chips are alright and toppings all good. The chicken was really good, but was just kinda one lump that didn't last throughout.

Logan (3) - They look busy. RAD: variety of toppings.  LAME: lots of chips without toppings. TOPPING TO CHIP RATIO: 2.5.  Good just a lot of naked chips there. Would rather have naked chicks. Nudity is reserved for chicks, not chips.
