5th Annual Feliz Nachodad - Kalihi Compound

What is Feliz Nachodad you say?  It's the annual holiday party for the Nacho Friends! Each year we meet up at a fabulous location and bring a different ingredient to share.  Once all the toppings have arrived, we group up to make our own perfect nachos which we place on a BBQ to cook. These nachos are the best because you get to make the nachos exactly as you like them with the plethora of creative and yummy ingredients each one of the Nacho Friends brought to the party.  (Usually there is also an abundance of tequila.) 😋

This year as a special treat, me and 2 other lovely ladies re-wrote the lyrics of Feliz Navidad to be about cheese and nachos. Moments before the rehearsal, we recruited a 4th and spent about 10 minutes choreographing our moves and practicing before performing for the group.  There is a video at the end of the page so you can witness this epic moment.  Also, here are the lyrics if you would like to learn them and perhaps be a part of our performance next year.  WARNING: the song is quite catchy and will be stuck in your head for days and days.
