Dave & Busters $6 Happy Hour Asian Chicken Wonton Nachos

Jackie and I bought tickets to watch Office Space for the Hana Hou Picture Show. With time to kill before the movie, we stopped in at Dave & Buster's next door. BONUS: It was happy hour so we were able to get delicious Bombay Sapphire martinis for $5!  When we overheard the people next to us order happy hour nachos, we decided we had to have nachos too!

Only available during happy hour, the $6 Asian Chicken Wonton Nachos are definitely designed to be a pupu or a small snack. They come out on a long plate with four, yes four, individually plated wonton nachos. The chicken is super flavorful and the chips are very crunchy. But still, there's only 4 of them. As soon as we started talking about nachos and the nacho blog with our new friends next to us, we were instant nacho BFFs and because they had also ordered the nachos, we were able to critique the nachos together as a group.

PRESENTATION: Symmetrical. Great appetizer but not a meal cause there’s only 4. Looks like you can just take it and bite it and get everything in one bite. Don’t love the plating, it looks messy. RAD: Great pork flavor, loved the crunchy wonton chips, hint of ginger really kicks it up a notch. LAME: There’s only 4, you know what you are getting, barely shareable, they are gone. TOPPING TO CHIP RATIO: 4, there's still space for toppings, I could see the chip. Delicious flavors, good crunch, I want more and there aren’t any. Pro tip: sit at the bar at Dave and Buster’s and you get attention right away. Service takes longer at a table. OVERALL: 4
